Fremantle Festival; 10 Nights in Port.

Luca. 13 in the Anthropocene. 2025.

What is it like to be 13 in contemporary Australia? How do children on the verge of adulthood feel about their future? For the last few years, Carine has been capturing our future people on black and white film, hand-colouring the portraits and interviewing teenagers about their experience in the world. This project aims to provide visibility to young people. Some of the portraits have been included in the Fremantle Festival; 10 Nights in Port 2025 and exhibited publicly in front of the Walyalup Fremantle Library. This exhibition runs from August 8th-17th, 2025.
